Patrick Hughes depicts work of street artist Banksy with this latest reverspective multiple, using such iconic pieces as “Rodeo Cowboy Kid’’, “Paint Pot Angel”, “Ghetto Boy” and one of his latest “Season’s Greetings”. This piece will be released for sale on Monday 8th July, you can however pre-order it through Micucci Interiors.
Patrick Hughes is one of the major British contemporary painters, who lives and works in London. He is the creator of “reverspective” – an optical illusion on a three-dimensional surface, where the parts of the picture which seem furthest away are actually physically the nearest. For the last 25 years, his 3D reverspective paintings have been in huge demand, exhibited around the world and featured in many public collections. The experience of seeing Patrick Hughes’ sculptured paintings is really to experience the paradox of illusory space and movement. His works are in many public collections including the British Library, Tate, Denver Art Museum and many others.
