This new collection brings sophistication and modernity along with a dash of surprise. Inspired by a selection of banknotes and stamps from all over the world; the author chose motifs, colours and graphics, which, by harmonizing with the porcelain, amplify its richness. Combined dynamically, the organic geometric motifs and various shades of blue, green and earthy pastel colours, avoid any repetition. Treasures skillfully blends classical delicacy, evident in the floral motifs, and a distinct avant-garde profile, revealed by the twist of contemporary graphics. A collection that is a real treasure trove!
TRANSATLANTICA
This collection, designed by one of the most renowned Brazilian designers Brunno Jahara, recreates the ties that unite Brazil and Portugal. He created the Transatlantica collection in the year of the commemoration of Portugal in Brazil. The inspiration came through crossing the great Atlantic to highlight the union of blood between the two worlds united in a unique multicultural interpretation. This collection was awarded an honourable mention by the German Design Award 2016!
CANNAREGIO
This range found its inspiration in the magical city of Venice – full of mysticism and esotericism, both evident in the facades of its many palaces and churches. The rich imagination, merging it with shapes belonging to the Vista Alegre heritage, alongside the floral and vegetable motifs; creates a romantic relationship between the past and modern times. A bold line, based on intense contrasts among blue, black and orange, destined to conquer the most diverse public. Award-winning collection with European Product Design Award 2018 and nominated for the German Design Awards 2019.
CASTELO BRANCO
This luxurious set is inspired by the famous embroidery of Castelo Branco, marking the timelessness and elegance of this collection. Within the Portuguese handicrafts, embroidery holds a special place, of great beauty and originality, standing out as an art form with a very peculiar character. Its uniqueness is also enriched by the connection to Castelo Branco, the capital city of a region with a strong linen tradition and where the mulberry trees grew easily. The 18th century is thought to have been the most prosperous time for embroidery. After a period of relative neglect, it re-emerged in the first quarter of the 20th century, precisely in the region of Castelo Branco. Castelo Branco tableware pays tribute to this traditional Portuguese handwork, reproducing the weaving of the delicate and elegant motifs – the influence of which dates back to the Moorish presence in the Iberian Peninsula – in a sober blue, where only the bright yellow contrasts with the whiteness of the porcelain. A practical and timeless set of pieces of great nobility!
